Service Description
This 2.5 hour bee keeping experience is a great gift for someone or a unique treat for yourself. We start the day with home made cakes, tea and coffee, where you can ask our experts anything you would like to know about the wonderful world of bees and honey. We will then get you suited up to come and meet the bees... Rebecca and Kai will show you all the different tasks the bees are doing in the hive, as well as walk you around their sustainably - built Bee Farm run on Solar power. There will be lots of opportunity for you to have photos with the bees and for you to take photos at any point throughout the day. They will then go through the different flowers and trees showing you what the bees gather nectar from and even show you how the honey is extracted. Over 35 years, 42 native species of trees have been planted on the farm especially for the bees to forage on. The experience will wrap up with a honey tasting - where you get to try several different types of honey the bees have created in this area.

Free cancellation is available up to 5 days prior course. Cancellations less than 5 days will get a 50% partial refund. Cancellations under 24 hours prior to the course will not be refunded. Please note: If you cancel and we can fill your place, we will give you a full refund. We are a small family business, our courses have limited spaces and sell out fast.
